My name is Mary Ann Hayes. I live in the Pacific Northwest on Camano Island, WA. I am a writer, working on my second novel and hoping to actually get this one published! I am also a mentor to the Camano Island chapter of MOPS. MOPS (mothers of pre-schoolers) is a national Christian organization offering community and support to all women with children from birth to five years of age; the pre-school years. As the mother of three, I remember well the long tiring days and the lonliness that comes with setting aside your life to be a full/part time mother. I cannot say how valuable MOPS would have been to me! It’s a wonderful chance to meet others walking in the same shoes and dealing with the same stage of life. It’s a support group like no other! If that’s where you are in life, do yourself a great favor and find a MOPS group to join! It will be one of the nicest things you have ever done for yourself!
Most importantly, I am a Christian, a follower of Jesus, Christ. He is with me always, through thick and thin, good times and bad, forever faithful. I am thankful everyday for my faith!
